Rosemary is known as "nature's morphine" for its powerful analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, ideal for relieving muscle, joint, and rheumatic pain.
Medicinal rosemary oil for muscle pain
Ingredients: 1 cup fresh rosemary leaves (dried can also be used) 1 cup (250 ml) carrier oil (olive, almond, or coconut) 1 glass jar with lid (Optional) 5–10 drops of peppermint or lavender essential oil (calming and refreshing effect)
Preparation
Option 1 – Cold Infusion Method (gentler, takes 1 week): Place the rosemary in a clean, dry jar. Pour in the oil until the rosemary is completely covered. Seal tightly and let it infuse in a dark place for 7–10 days, shaking it once a day. Strain the oil and store it in a dark container. Option 2 – Hot Infusion Method (faster): In a double boiler, combine the rosemary and oil. Cook over low heat for 30–45 minutes, without boiling. Let it cool, strain it, and store it in a dark jar.
