Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former Republican congresswoman, has made shocking claims about Donald Trump, alleging he sent messages blaming her for death threats against her son.
Greene resigned from Congress in November 2025 following a disagreement with Trump over the Epstein files. For years, she had been one of Trump’s most loyal supporters in Congress, but the relationship quickly deteriorated after she became one of four Republicans to petition for the files to be released.
Following her resignation, Greene has publicly criticized Trump’s handling of the conflict in Iran, even urging: “25TH AMENDMENT!!! Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness,” in a social media post.
In a speech delivered at the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity’s spring conference on April 25 in Lake Jackson, Texas, Greene reportedly made remarks about her relationship with Trump that have since gone viral.

She said she reached out to several senior figures close to Trump after her 22-year-old son received death threats.
“I got no response from Susie Wiles – none – and she’s a mother and grandmother and a woman,” she said, according to VT.
“Got no response from James Blair because he only cares about making money on campaigns.
“I did hear from Kash Patel. He said ‘on it,’ but I haven’t heard from him since.

“I don’t know what he’s on. JD Vance was very nice to me, compassionate and kind, and reassured that he would do everything we could to find out what’s going on.”
Donald Trump’s response
What she claims to have heard back from Trump, however, is what is raising eyebrows.
“Then I heard back from Donald Trump, and I’ve saved these text messages. I’d probably get put in jail if I released them publicly, but I saved them,” she said.
“Where Donald Trump proceeded to tell me that it was my fault and that I deserve it.
“If my son gets killed, I deserve it because I was a traitor to him.
“That is our president of the United States. That’s a man [who] says MAGA whatever he wants it to be.”
The White House has not commented on Greene’s claim that she could be “put in jail” for releasing the alleged messages. She also did not specify what law or authority she was referring to.
Her son received threats
In early December 2025, Greene said in an interview with the Daily Beast that the threats were received anonymously via email, with the subject line reading “Marjorie Traitor Greene” – a nickname Trump had publicly used shortly beforehand.
Derek will have his life snuffed out soon,” the email reportedly read.
“Better watch his back.”
Since resigning, Trump has branded her both a “traitor” and a “disgrace” on Truth Social. Whether she will ever release the text messages she claims to have received remains unclear.
