How to use bottles as watering tanks. With this technique, you no longer need to manually water potted plants and plants in the ground, including your vegetable garden, for days on end. You can go on vacation or away for the weekend without having to ask your friends and neighbors to water your plants.

Get some plastic bottles in two different sizes – half-liter and 1.5-liter bottles, or 1.5-liter and 3-liter containers, etc. – the larger the bottles, the longer the water will last. You will receive your irrigation system free of charge and without any environmental impact.

Take the smaller plastic container and cut it in half, roughly as shown in the photo. Dig a hole to bury it and fill it with water. Now, take the larger plastic container and cut it in half as well.

Now, place it upside down on top of the smaller container so it resembles a large lid (see photo).
